Sometimes things don't go as planned. Here is my go at replacing the float, needle and seat in my carbs, without removing carbs from the engine as there really is no need to. If you don't like working with a mirror, and whereby clockwise is loosening and counter-clockwise is tightening, then don't do this job with the carbs on the car. Many good vids showing how to on a bench. Note: this video ends before I barely started replacing the parts I set out to, as I had a little setback towards the end. Anyway, even though I didn't make it this far in this video, assembly is pretty much the reverse of disassembly, but check references for float height which I believe is 1mm +/- 0.5mm from the bottom of the carb housing surface, when the float is up to the point where it stops (needle valve closed I believe). Good luck and have fun!! Happy Motoring!! The goal is to get out on the road, so make it happen, baby!!
