Established in 1903 by President Theodore Roosevelt, this location in South Dakota was among the first national parks in the United States. #13 Hingol National Park Located in Pakistan, this park contains many unusual features including a mud volcano. Established in 1988, the park sprawls across 2,400 square miles (6,100 sq km) and contains habitats ranging from arid subtropical forests to mountainous areas. #12 Arches National Park More than 2,000 naturally occurring natural sandstone arches can be found at this national park in eastern Utah, so the name isn’t a coincidence.
