When you release music on International Feel, the Punta Del Este, Uruguay label known for Balearic music, you might think that sticking to the the cold-drink-in-hand-feet-in-the-sand style of production is your only option. But for Private Agenda, a trio of lads by the name of Martin, Sean, and Nick, their follow up EP to the wonderfully received, undoubtably White Isle-anthem, "Déjà Vu, took a very different direction. Entitled Paralysed, their latest 12" features a disco stomper of an A-side, feeding off a lifeblood of boogie grooves, and bright, vibrant instrumentation straight out a Wham! track. For the video at hand the guys went all out, with a game plan consisting of what they refer to as "a motley crew of friends, no budget, and only a crate of beer." Armed with this survival pack, they transformed the track with a live, big-band rendition, recorded with a 16-piece orchestra. The end result? The greatest party you sadly didn't get invited to. Needn't worry though: after watching this video, you'll immediately feel like you're part of the action. "The Paralysed big-band experiment is proof that our records translate well on many levels.
