Nearly 70 years since the Pere Marquette was folded into the Chesapeake & Ohio, the rails of the old Michigan Road have continued to provide a pathway for goods and people across the state. Today, in August 2015, we enjoy the scenes of the modern iteration, with scenes almost exclusively* from old Pere Marquette trackage along the Marquette Rail and CSX Transportation system, radiating out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
