We are delighted to announce the winners of this year's Star Awards after receiving a record number of nominations. In total 700 nominations were received, recognising some of the best healthcare professionals at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, which runs City, Sandwell and Rowley Regis Hospitals, as well as three GP surgeries, Your Health Partnership and Leasowes Intermediate Care Centre. This year’s nominations naturally reflect the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic but also all the other work that has gone on throughout the past year, in particular the launch of Unity, our electronic patient record. Our judges definitely had a challenge this year whittling down the 700 nominations to our final shortlist and on to our winners who we're thrilled to share with you today.
