Derwen College - A place of Possibility | National Numeracy Day 2024

Derwen College is a specialist college for young adults (aged 16–25) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This year for National Numeracy Day, a few of the Performing Arts students took part in National Numeracy's Big Number Natter, they spoke to National Numeracy's Training Officer, Iain Evans, about their experiences with maths and numbers. 💬 Derwen's positive and empowering culture ✨ gives students the confidence and experience to live life their own way and to find joy in the different. 😎 In this video Luan, Callum, and Lucy share their experiences with numbers and maths, and how they use it particularly within Performing Arts. 🎭 Located in Shropshire at Gobowen, they deliver exceptional programmes to residential and local day students aged 16 to 25.
