Fetal Duodenal Atresia || Ultrasound || Case 138 Clinical Features: A young married female patient came with amenorrhea for 9 months. Ultrasound Features: 34+ weeks of single live intrauterine gestation. Dilated fetal stomach & duodenum giving ‘Double Bubble’ appearance. Polyhydramnios. Remember In case of double-bubble sign, it is important to demonstrate a connection between the two fluid-filled structures to exclude other differential diagnoses like foregut duplication cyst & other abdominal cysts.
