The story of this SolidWorks Dandelion modelling tutorial started a week ago. I was bored and decided to make something nice for fun. The previous day I did a plant for my interior project, so in my mind, the idea of dandelion was born. Although I don't have rendering at my home PC, during my work I've done many photo-realistic renders, so I adjusted the materials to have as good as possible view to real dandelion. Then I decided to share the picture in my LinkedIn profile. I was surprised by the interest it caused and asked by many to make a tutorial about it. And here it is my first SolidWorks Tutorial and the start of a new craft in D Workshop: engineered-craft. From now I'll first model my ideas in SolidWorks and make a tutorial, then will be another 1 or 2 tutorials on preparing the model for the creation and how it's done.
