Channay Ki Daal Gosht This delightful Main Course recipe of Chany Daal Gosht can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish. Ingredients: Mutton ½ kg Gram lentil (½ kg 500 gm) soaked for half an hour 1 big onion sliced Tomatoes 3 Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Salt 1 tbsp Red Chili powder 1 tbsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Coriander powder ½ tsp Oil 1 cup Mint leaves ½ bunch Green chillies 4-5 chopped lemon juice 3 tbsp Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp Allspice (garam masala) 1tsp few ginger slices water 2 cups Method: 1. Soak channa daal for atleast half an hour before cooking. 2. Heat oil fry onion golden, add ginger garlic paste until they are brown. 3. Now add mutton with half tsp salt and fry well for about 5 minutes. 4. Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder along with half tsp salt, turmeric and Coriander powder. Add 1 cup water and keep it on mediam flame till it gets half cooked. 5. Now add soaked chana daal with some more water (if necessarily) and mix well. 6. Cook till mutton and daal tender. 7. Lastly add green chopped chillies, Allspice (garam masala), few slices of ginger, lemon juice, mint leaves, Dry fenugreek leaves and serve hot with naan or chapattis.
