Our adventures take us to the Historic City of Echo, Oregon. Echo sits on the east bank of the Umatilla River, and became a crossing point for the Oregon Trail. The City is rich in history as emigrants discovered the crossing point on the river. This became a resting point for many travelers at Lower Crossing Camp. An Indian Agency was established, a post office was built and the travelers began settling the area. Echo was platted in 1880 by J.H. Koontz, and named after his three year old daughter, Echo. Today, Echo is a reminder of the past history of the Oregon Trail and the people that built the City and the area. Echo is a must see along the Oregon Trail. ❤ Subcsribe Here: https://bit.ly/3vQ43lD
