Krabi Town is an overlooked destination in southern Thailand. Everyone is always talking about Phuket, the Phi Phi Islands, and surrounding beaches and it seems like Krabi Town gets left behind. We don't know why as it has delicious food, access to stunning beaches, great hiking opportunities, and we found the prices to be lower and it to be more affordable than many surrounding areas. We visited the beautiful Railay Beach, hiked the amazing Ngon Nak Nature Trail (also called the Dragon's Crest trail), ate lots of local food, and walked through bat caves, all while balancing this with living our regular slow travel lifestyle.
