This was the only train and railroad crossing I recorded on October 25, 2025. As explained in my previous video of Lamar Street in Marks, MS, I would be heading to Baton Rouge, Louisiana as my next trip at the time, (technically not Baton Rouge, stayed at a hotel in Donaldsonville, due to most rooms booked within Baton Rouge). The previous day, (October 24,) I focused mainly on the rest of the CN Hammond Sub, along with entire rest of Baton Rouge in general. But here on the 25th, I decided to get the rest of the UP Livonia Sub, (save for a little section north of Addis), documented, and while I was doing it, a northbound UP mixed freight and intermodal slowly approached, and while the Livonia Subdivision, like many UP lines, doesn't have the greatest crossing equipment, I came across this one outside of Plaquemine where there are no rear-facing lights what so ever. I'm not sure why this is the case, but I think it has to deal with the median as such. Crossing info: Main signal on the left: 4 - 12"x20" Safetran w/ GE Dotted LEDs, a WCH Style 3.5 gate mechanism, NEG Clear LED gatelights, and a WCH E-Bell. Median signal on the far left: 2 - 12"x20" Safetran w/ GE Dotted LEDs. Median signal on the near left: 2 - 12"x20" Safetran w/ GE Dotted LEDs. Main signal on the left: 2 - 12"x20" Safetran w/ GE Dotted LEDs, a WCH Style 3.5 gate mechanism, NEG Clear LED gatelights, and an NEG E-Bell (That doesn't ring until the gates lower, don't know why it does it unlike the WCH E-Bell.)
