An overview of the concept of procedural generation in level design using Game Maker (or, really, any other system)! Once again, you don't need to use the same exact code I do here, but the one essential rule with procedural generation is that you can't use anything that will be different in different runs of the game - one of the random() functions, the current timestamp, etc. Just about anything else is fair game!
