We visit Honolulu quite often, I'd say atleast once a year and we ALWAYS make the effort to drive up to the Dole Plantation. About 45 minute drive from Waikiki Beach area up north! It is a nice drive, scenic and we always stop by Giovanni Shrimp Truck as well. So why not?? Literally Killing two birds with one stone. Also many nice beaches up north to check out! You won't regret. TRUST. It's a nice stop, watching the kids run around in joy while you eat your Dole whip, an express train that goes around the plantation, a maze!
