Langdale Pikes Hike & Ambleside Parkrun

Hi - Thanks for stopping by! Join me with footage from a busy weekend in the Lake District. My name is Adam and I have just had a fabulous weekend, completing my 10th Parkrun at Rothay park in Ambleside at the beautiful Lake District. Following this, I made my way to Langdale valley where I met 2 friends to then go up towards the a range known as the Langdale Pikes - for a hike & wildcamp. Sadly as we were about to set off, we did not know at the time but a climber had the misfortune of sustaining serious injuries after a boulder, and lose rocks had fallen, thus a huge rescue operation took place - sirens and many emergency vehicles attended, including the large Sikorsky coast guard helicopter. I have a small amount of footage of the helicopter - but would like to just take this opportunity to wish the person involved all the best, and hope they make a full & speedy recovery.
