Cask Type: Matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Sherry casks Strength: 43% alc./vol. This whisky is the flagship of the Tomatin Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky range, smooth and easy to drink. After spending time maturing in traditional oak casks, this particular Tomatin spends the last six to nine months of its maturation exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks. AROMA A complex bouquet contains rich malt and fruity aromas with a hint of peatiness. PALATE The palate is rewarded with a unique combination of attractive flavours – a balance of apples, pears, malt with a gentle hint of nuttiness enhanced by the subtle use of sherry wood. FINISH Smooth, sweet and very satisfying.
