Incredible Busy Day Planespotting at Madeira, Funchal Airport | 11/04/16

This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! Monday's are a very busy day for Funchal Airport on the Island of Madeira. Lots of holiday flights coming & going from all over Europe mixed with some of the regular shuttle flights to Lisbon and low cost carriers. This was my third visit to the Island, a beautiful island and fantastic for some filming at the notorious airport. Aircraft fly in parallel to the runway before a sharp turn to the right towards the islands rugged coastline before lining up with the runway which is perched on top of a shear hillside which drops straight off into the water. Not for the faint hearted, but these guys made it look easy. I've included on screen information of Airline, Aircraft type and Destination/Origin just for your entertainment! Lot's of action to see on Monday's. Apologies for the shaky footage in places, I didn't have my tripod with me in Madeira so just had to make do handheld.
