Jesus, I Believe—But My Heart Still Doubts | Morning Prayer

If you believe in Jesus… but your heart still wrestles with doubt, this morning prayer is for you. For the weary believer, the anxious soul, and anyone quietly asking God for steady faith again. Today we come to Him honestly — not with perfect words, but with a real heart. Some mornings you wake up feeling strong, and other mornings your thoughts feel loud, your peace feels far, and your trust feels fragile. This prayer is a gentle place to bring all of that into God’s presence without shame. “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” — Mark 9:24 In this time of prayer, we’re asking Jesus to meet us in the tension between faith and doubt. To calm the inner storm. To soften the fear underneath the questions. To renew the parts of us that feel tired from trying to “hold it together.” And to remind us that His love is not fragile — it doesn’t leave when our confidence feels small. If you’re feeling anxious, overthinking, spiritually dry, or quietly discouraged, you don’t have to push your doubts away to be near God. You can bring them to Him. He is gentle with the struggling heart, and patient with the soul still learning to trust. Take a slow breath. Let this prayer guide you.
