TALVEKOIDIK - Take A Deep Breath
Band : TALVEKOIDIK Album : "Negotiate The Distance" (2012) "Negotiate The Distance" is an impressive production for its elaboration and multiple influences. Cold resonating sound waves and mysterious chants open on the cool track, "Take A Deep Breath". The track finally evolves into rhythms and ends in a cold soundscape apotheosis. The inspiration of icy soundscapes is definitely the main influence on this album, which was already noticeable on the debut release. The icy electronics lead this production into a very poignant atmospheric adventure. "The Tree Knows A Secret" totally reflects this feeling. But Talvekoidik goes much further than the usual soundscape release. Hahnewald is constantly adding some down-tempo rhythms to his work. It creates a very exciting effect, but this is not the most surprising element of his work. The CD is packaged in the typical Hands paper pack (SmartPac packaging)
