The weather for this time isn't what you would think when you are targeting spawning crappies. What you would really want is a sunny, warm day so those big mama crappies could move up tight to the bank to get ready to spawn. However, on this day, the weather was exactly the opposite. It was cold and windy, but the day prior it rained pretty hard so the water came up about 3 ft and I wasn't really sure i was going to catch any but we ended up catching a few for dinner.
