This song, as well as most of the others on this, "Soulful Scripture Song" project, came from my devotions in the early morning hours, reading the verse of the day in the YouVersion Bible app. I would read it, meditate on it, and listen for a melody. Often, without my guitar, I would simply whisper what I was hearing, [because others were still sleeping] and I would begin to sing. It was such a sweet season of letting God sing His Word to me and over me, and this song is a perfect example of God doing exactly that.
