We just try to score first, and I hope this holds true in the playoffs." The Western Conference champion Invaders, led by the 117-yard rushing performance of John Williams, will carry a league-best 13-4-1 record into the playoffs against Tampa Bay Sunday at Oakland. Houston, which fell to 10-8, will travel to Birmingham to take on the Stallions Saturday. A crowd of 15,797 turned out to watch what may have been the final performance by the Gamblers in Houston.
