How to Knit 1 Through the Back Loop (K1tbl / K1 tbl / Ktbl)

Welcome to The Blue Mouse Knits! Today I'll be teaching you how to work a Knit 1 through the back loop which is abbreviated as: K1tbl or K1 tbl. This is one of the basic stitches involved with twisted rib. Each knit stitch has a front loop and a back loop when you look at it. A normal knit stitches are worked from left to right into the front loop, but twisted stitches are worked from right to left into the back loop. The video is demonstrated with continental knitting, but you could still follow it as an english knitter, and it will work if you are left or right handed. I'm right handed, but hold the yarn in my left hand so it will work either way.
