When I my bought my Golf R, upgrading the intake was one of the first things that I wanted to do. I got lucky and found my R600 Cold Air Intake on FB Marketplace for $100. Not bad considering they go for about $400 brand new. Even though it's not an open air intake, it's still pretty loud and sounds great.
