This journey was not planned, yet it became one of the most meaningful days of my travel. I met a local woman who is part of the Ooty Plastic Awareness Team, and I decided to join them for the day. Together, we met local people and tourists at the railway station and bus stands, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and informing them about the fines. Seeing their dedication showed me the real ground reality behind clean hills. I’m deeply thankful to this team for letting me witness their sincere work.
