In this video we bring my dead Metabo Planer Thicknesser back to live with a £27 repair. You'll see where the three micro switches are located on the machine and how to test them. This repair was simple and straightforward and assisted by the exploded component diagrams on the Miles Tool and Machinery Company Website (http://www.mtmc.co.uk/). The faulty switch was simple to replace and the repair took around 40 minutes including the testing and running of the machine in both planer (US: jointer) and thicknesser (US: Planer) mode.
