Leucoderma is also visible as a white patch, we call it as vitiligo. There is no exact treatment for this as this is an autoimmune disease. So there are couple of treatments which we put together and treat the patient. So we need to first investigate the patient if there is any thyroid antibodiespresentorany other autoimmune disease in the patient. If there is any coexisting autoimmune disorder, then we have to treat that. Otherwise this will not be reflected to be treated properly. If the patient is not responding properly. It means unstable vitiligo. That means how much ever treatment we give, the patient is not stabilizing the disease, the new patches are still coming, then we need to still stabilize the treatment with the particular drugs and treat the patient surgically or anything by skin grafting or melanocyte cell culture and transfer.
