In the past 15 years, I have tried almost everything to stop or reduce my snoring… Here are a few things I have done to stop snoring: 1) I had deviated septum surgery (which is kinda like sticking a drill bit up your nose so you can breath better - well... that did not work... 2) I had a dentist make me a Custom made anti-snoring mouth guard for $800 - and that helped a little and lasted 1 entire year (image) - 3) I have also tried over 10 different models of “less expensive” - about $50 each... dunk into boiling water and bite on “anti-snoring mouth guards” - some of these mouth guards helped a little (image) - and most last about 6 months 4) I have also used some anti-snore things you tape “onto” or “shove up” into your nose - some of these things have helped me to breath a little better through my nose (image) - but didn't do much for snoring 5) I have tried several snore reducing pillows including my current memory foam side sleeper pillow that I LOVE --- but unfortunately - none of them ever really helped my snoring 6) I have had 2 over-night sleep apnea studies - which is kinda like having a 1,000 wires attached to you head and body to record how you are sleeping (image) - the results of these studies simply told me that --- I do not have sleep apnea... ugh 7) And I have a sore shoulder from my wife punching me at night... which temporarily helps to stop snoring - until I fall back to sleep…. OH - I forgot to mention that both of my brothers have sleep apnea and use CPAP machines and so did my dad for 10 years - before he passed away. #3 So ...
