Considered as up there with the best of the thrash metal crew, Megadeth has become a god of its musical kind with fans, credited with increasing the popularity of the thrash metal sub-genre. With an active career spanning over 25 years the band has undergone heaps of changes, meaning it boasts a history of 20 official members. The only two original members remaining today are guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson.
