Yaesu FL-2100 repair - Part1, fixing the usual faults (Ham Radio Tube Amplifier)

I had these 2 Yaesu PA's sitting on my project pile for quite a while, both were in rather poor state with the usual faults. The Sommerkamp unit (FL2277), which is literally identical to the FL-2100, also suffered from an over-enthusiastic delivery driver, it has lots of cracked capaciors and a bent case. Since i have moved to a place with less neighbours, it was the right time for looking into a bit of QRO, The legal limit in rhe UK is 400W only, so not much we can do, but still 6dB more than the IC751A running barefoot. This part shows the faults and some fixes, also the initial tests of the repaired unit and explains some precautions if those PA's were sitting around unused for a long time. Part 2 covers some finer details and improvements, it now produces about 350W output (on 80,40 and 20m) with rather dull tubes. I have odered a new set of "Golden Dragon" 572B's, pretty much the only affordable option i could find. If they arrive in tme, i will add the results in part 2 as well.
