On June 7th, A B-24 Bomber crashed into the fields of Etters, killing all but a an untrained civilian, who grabbed a parachute and jumped out of the bomb bay doors. On Christmas Day, a C-47 Sky Train crashed into the hills of Reeser's Summit, killing 12 and injuring 15.
