WRX/STI EJ25 Perrin Oil Cooler Full Install

Full install of Perrin Oil Cooler for Subaru EJ255 and 257 motors. The biggest difference between me and an STI is they will have the OEM oil cooler to remove, in which case you will lose a little coolant when connecting the hose together. Most people say this will be give you ~15*F lower temps, I can say that is about what I see as well. Before installing this I was hitting 265 oil temps during a normal 70* day track session. With this installed, I am seeing about 245 max now in the same conditions. Don't be like me, follow the instructions and put the sandwich plate in first and then connect the hoses to it. Just be patient, and if you HAVE to you can unscrew it to get a connector on (that's what I ended up doing).
