We met the family of Anukul Bala and Iti Bala, parents of two children, who fled Bangladesh five years ago to save their lives and dignity. Today, they are living in Murshidabad, West Bengal, struggling to survive under extremely painful conditions. Anukul Bala is bedridden, suffering from severe bed sores and medical neglect. He is unable to move or earn, and his condition has left the entire family in distress. His wife Iti Bala is trying to hold the family together, but with no stable income, survival has become a daily struggle. Their son wants to open a small salon shop so he can earn honestly and take responsibility for his family. This single step can bring dignity, stability, and long-term self-reliance to this household. This family also urgently needs pension support to manage daily expenses, medicines, and basic necessities. Without regular assistance, their situation will only worsen.
