I want to do something a little different, and start our next D&D game in media res. Rather than the tavern, we're going to start down in the Mad Mage's Undermountain dungeon. Each character will have their own motivation for being there, and a starting boon to help them out. They'll be running for their lives from the troll, a chase sequence during which the players will introduce their characters. From there, it's up into the Yawning Portal tavern in Waterdeep, where we rejoin the module as-written. #rpg #dnd #dungeonsanddragons
