Want to know what a 2015 Mini Cooper 1.5 Exhaust and Engine sounds like when idling, when driven, when revving? Then look no further. No music, no added sound effects - just pure authentic audio recordings! This video has 3 Mic'd elements. 1- External Exhaust Mic recording 2- Internal Interior Mic Recording 3- External In the Engine Bay Mic Recording This is a "STOCK" 2015 Mini Cooper with the standard engine, no K&N Filters, no stainless straight through exhaust system. This is a standard car. And Im not going to lie to you. It sounds pretty good! The fact that it is a 3 cylinder means it sounds a lot more throaty than its 4 pot counterparts. And the waste-gate blow off valve is pretty good considering the turbo is the size of a small mars bar. And the exhaust note is so deep and burbly, it sounds like it is packing a much larger motor under there! As I work in sound for television, I thought it would be fun to spend some time combining my love of sound and my love of cars and attempt to get some clean recordings of some of the cars I have access to Anyways, there will be a few of these shorter videos ranging from classic cars, to present day.
