In this video I will show you how to move a quadriplegic person from a wheelchair to bed using a ceiling lift. The only videos I've seen on YouTube use able-bodied actors to demonstrate how to use a patient lift or Hoyer but lifting a disabled person is completely different from lifting a person with serious disabilities. We didn't have much guidance when we got the lift, so developed this system on our own. If you have any tips to make the job easier, please leave a comment!
