Arbortech Staff Power Carving Competition 2024

Every year at Arbortech, we get stuck into our Staff Power Carving Competition - a fun mix of creativity, craftsmanship, and a bit of friendly rivalry. The challenge? Make anything out of wood, use at least one Arbortech tool, and finish it in three months. That’s it! When time’s up, we throw a one-day pop-up art show with good food, live music (from the Arbortech band, of course), plenty of laughs, and prizes for everyone’s hard work. Our team is a mixed bag—some are ultra-competitive, others are quietly brilliant. But every creation (and creator) is appreciated. As makers of unique woodworking tools, we love seeing how easy it is to turn a scrap piece of wood into something amazing. And honestly, it feels pretty good.
