RDVideo - La storia di GambaTorta - The story of Broken Leg. Quattro anni di riprese video mi hanno permesso di studiare una parte della vita di questo splendido stallone di nome GambaTorta. Ho avuto la fortuna di cogliere momenti rappresentativi di una parte della sua vita e per rendergli omaggio e farlo ricordare ho creato questo piccolo documentario. GambaTorta era un cavallo che viveva allo stato brado sulle montagne della Calvana in Toscana. Nel 2013 si era procurato una frattura ad un arto anteriore in maniera scomposta. Non sappiamo come abbia fatto a sopravvivere dopo questo terribile incidente ma incredibilmente l'osso si è ricalcificato e il suo corpo si è riadattato continuando a vivere con i suoi simili fino al Settembre del 2024. Purtroppo in seguito a un combattimento con altri stalloni è morto a metà Settembre 2024 lasciando un velo di tristezza in tutti noi che lo conoscevamo. Four years of video footage have allowed me to study a part of the life of this splendid stallion named GambaTorta. I was lucky enough to capture moments representative of a part of his life and to pay homage to him and have him remembered I created this little documentary. GambaTorta was a horse that lived in the wild in the mountains of Calvana in Tuscany. In 2013 he suffered a compound fracture to a front limb. We do not know how he survived after this terrible accident but incredibly the bone recalcified and his body readapted continuing to live with his peers until September 2024. Unfortunately, following a fight with other stallions he died in mid-September 2024 leaving a veil of sadness in all of us who knew him.
