Since 2006, HEART has been protecting animals with nowhere else to go while working toward a future where no animal is left in need. From the beginning, our mission has focused not only on rescue, but also on prevention — because real change comes when we stop suffering before it starts. Over the years, we have rescued more than 3,000 animals and found loving homes for nearly 2,500. Today, we continue to care for over 200 dogs and cats, all waiting for families of their own. As we look to the future, HEART is shifting its focus more deeply toward prevention: supporting spay/neuter efforts, educating communities, and creating long-term solutions for animals in need.
