In this Part 1 vlog, we switch up our commute and take the GO bus to Union Station. After arriving, we grabbed some takeout sushi from Zen Kyoto for lunch (pretty good, though Pope wasn't a fan of the avocado in the Spider Roll!). We fueled up with coffee from Pigeon Coffee and headed straight to the Distillery District for the incredible Winter Village event! Since it was a weekday, we got in for free! The whole area looks magical with all the Christmas decorations, especially the giant Christmas Tree where you could actually hear birds chirping inside! We explored the Toronto Shoppe for stationery, and then stumbled upon a gem: the first dedicated Jellycat shop inside Bergo Designs! They had every single cute, expensive plushie you could imagine.
