This is the second of 2 Checklists Tutorials. In this tutorial, we access them in a Cold and Dark cockpit. "Cold and Dark" is a term used to describe the state the aircraft is in --completely disconnected from any of its usual electrical power sources, like its Main Battery, or an external Ground Power Unit (GPU), or even its on-board Axillary Power Unit (APU). The jet does have all these resources, and we showcase them in the Outside or Inside tours, but they are not available or hooked up when the aircraft is "Cold and Dark". The question then is: If there is absolutely no power, then where are, and what powers the Checklists, which pilots will need to use and follow to spin-up the jet from a quiet and cold state, to an aircraft that's warmed-up, purring, and safe to fly? That's what this tutorial begins to shows you. The methodical use of the checklists is vital to the smooth, predictable, reliable and frustration-free operation of this highly replicated aircraft! So don't skip these. Every real pilot uses Checklists, always, no matter their experience. So if you want to be like a real pilot, then you too will make the use of these real-world replicated and worded checklists a part of your every-flight routine (well... at LEAST for enough time to get really familiar with its procedures), then once learned, the aircraft is easy to fly -- very forgiving, and super responsive too -- but not in a twitchy way. Solid. Predictable. (actually that is partly because the model uses real-world, customized airfoils!)
