If you love snow and the mountains, you'll love this one. Tan and Phet were in Ktm on April 6 and we had to leave by April 8. It was raining all over Kathmandu. Our trip to Lower Solu's Holy Dudhkunda Lake felt scripted, as the hope of a clear weather was grim when we left Kathmandu. To our surprise, the weather opened up when we were in Salleri. The next couple of days, when we were trekking, the weather was gloomy again. But snowfall was a bonus for us. And the day we went to Dudhkunda, there wasn't a single trace of clouds in the sky. Only a few destinations are reachable so easily in Nepal that can take you directly to the base of the mountains. And a lake with such beauty and religious significance, its surprising how its still so underrated. Hope you make your plans to visit this place soon!
