Elderly couple K.C. George (63) and Rachel (56) were brutally stabbed to death in their Meenthalakkara home on October 6. Their maid Gowri found the bodies and alerted police. The clue? Gowri mentioned the couple expecting “Madrasile Mon” — Reny George, a distant relative from Madras, who arrived with three foreign accomplices. Fueled by drug addiction and greed, they planned a robbery but committed cold-blooded murder. All four were arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment. The case inspired the 1982 Mohanlal blockbuster Madrasile Mon. Remarkably, Reny later repented in prison, found faith, and became a preacher and social worker after release. A chilling tale of crime… and redemption.
