Episode 3: Kuttenberg / Kutná Hora: Inspired by the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, I set out in the summer of 2025 to explore the real-world locations behind the story. Following in Henry’s footsteps, I travelled to Bohemia — to see with my own eyes the towns, streets, and landmarks that shaped both history and the game. In this third episode of my journey From Pixels to Stone, I visit Kutná Hora (Kuttenberg) — the largest city featured in the game. I combine in-game footage with real-life video to show how the medieval silver town appears in the game and how it looks today. Highlights include: entering the city through its medieval gates the fountain the market square and taverns, once full of miners and merchants the Church of St. James, with its towering Gothic spire the Italian Court (Welscher Hof) the Vrchlice Valley, once the heart of silver mining the Cathedral of St. Barbara — financed by miners, still one of the greatest Gothic churches of Central Europe For me, the most impressive part is how a modest town by modern standards could create such a magnificent cathedral — a symbol of the city’s wealth and power. And how the game, with its detail and story, pulled me into a world long gone — yet still alive everywhere in Bohemia. This is Episode 3 of my series From Pixels to Stone. If you enjoyed this journey, make sure to watch the previous episodes in Skalitz, Rattay, and Trosky Castle. #KingdomComeDeliverance #KingdomCome2 #kuttenberg #KutnaHora #Bohemia #HistoricalRPG #GameVsReality #WarhorseStudios #MedievalHistory #TravelVlog #CzechRepublic #StBarbaraCathedral #ItalianCourt #CzechTourism #VisitCzechRepublic
