I wanted to capture the feeling of the 100 mile hike so you can experience one of the UK's most popular long distance hikes. You'll be passing through lush lake side forests, wide open highlands, wet trails, some frozen puddles and you might hear some distant deer calling out from the mountains. The final section of this virtual hike ends looking at Ben Nevis which is the tallest mountain in the UK. I'm so happy to be able to bring you these beautiful natural places so you can experience them too. Happy hiking! This hike was completed in the second week of October 2024 which made for a beautiful Autumn experience. Lots of pumpkin coloured leaves, browns and reds, and a chill to the air that was perfect for hiking. Some forests were still very green and lush whilst others were barren, leaves cluttering the ground. The cooler air also reduced the midges and bugs which is such a relief as they can become rather thick in the summer months. Would you like to support this channel?
