We have done many easy Thanksgiving Dog Treat ideas for dogs, and this is just another one we are adding to our list! Remember, there are many foods that dogs should not eat on Thanksgiving, so make sure to make your dog some easy homemade dog treats to enjoy while you celebrate! With Thanksgiving right around the corner in the United States, we're bringing the festive flavors to our dogs! In this video, our three Siberian Huskies—Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor—"help" us bake a dog-safe version of a holiday classic: adorable Pumpkin Pie Pockets! Join us in the kitchen for some fun and chaos as we whip up a delicious pumpkin and peanut butter filling and a simple, roll-out dough crust. You'll see who the best taste-testers are (they all are!) and who gets to lick the beaters. We'll show you step-by-step how to make these cute little turnovers, and even how to make mini pumpkin pie cups as an alternative. Stick around to the end to see the final taste test, complete with a little dog-friendly whipped topping! This is the perfect recipe to make your furry friend feel included in the holiday festivities. Remember, life is short, make memories with your dogs! 🐾 Dog-Friendly Pumpkin Pie Pocket Recipe 🐾 THE PUMPKIN FILLING: 1 can (15 oz) 100% Pure Pumpkin (IMPORTANT: Do NOT use pumpkin pie filling) 1 large spoonful of Peanut Butter 1 dash of Honey 1 dash of Cinnamon (optional) 1 raw Egg THE PIE CRUST DOUGH: 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or whole wheat/oat flour) 1/2 cup Water 1 tbsp Coconut Oil 1 tbsp Bone Broth (or water) 1 raw Egg For Egg Wash: 1 extra Egg, whisked INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, combine all the filling ingredients and whip them together until smooth. Set this mixture aside. In a separate bowl, combine all the crust ingredients and mix until it forms a dough ball that doesn't stick to your hands. Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough out to about 1/4 inch thick. Use a circle cutter or turnover press to cut out your dough circles. Place a dough circle in your press, add about one spoonful of the pumpkin filling, and press to seal your pocket. Place the pockets on a baking sheet, brush the tops with the egg wash, and bake for about 15 minutes. Let cool completely before serving to your eager pups! 😀 Coloring Book: https://amzn.to/3Caai6P 🎃 MORE Treat videos: • Thanksgiving Dog Treats and Dinner | DIY D... 🎃 Products we used in the video: https://kit.co/GonetotheSnowDogs/my-d...
