If you’ve ever wondered "Is Turkish Airlines good?" or looked up "What to expect on Turkish Airlines Economy Class?", then this video is for you. 🛫 Istanbul Airport Experience (IST) My journey started at the new Istanbul Airport (IST) – one of the largest and most modern airports in the world. The terminal is massive and beautifully designed, with an incredible selection of shops, Turkish cafés, and duty-free options. Before boarding, I visited the Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles Lounge – also known as “Turkish Airlines lounge Istanbul” or searched as “Miles and Smiles Lounge review”. This lounge is available for Star Alliance Gold members, business class passengers, and those with eligible Miles&Smiles elite status. Inside, the lounge offers luxurious seating areas, private relaxation zones, and a rich buffet with freshly prepared Turkish cuisine. I enjoyed some delicious meze, warm pide, and a traditional Turkish tea. The lounge also includes shower facilities, a business center and gaming zone (the business lounge even has a golf simulator)– making it one of the most feature-packed lounges in Europe. It’s frequently ranked among the best Star Alliance lounges in Europe, and after my visit, I can absolutely see why. ✈️ Turkish Airlines Economy Class Cabin On board the Turkish Airlines Airbus A321, the Economy Class cabin was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The seat legroom is a bit narrow but the personal entertainment screen (which is not standard on short-haul European flights) was great. If you’re comparing this to other airlines, you’ll be surprised by the overall comfort level. Beer, wine, water, soft drinks, coffee, and tea were available, and the cabin crew was friendly and attentive throughout the flight.
