Castlevania The Adventure (Rebalance)

This is a simple ROM hack for Castlevania The Adventure on Game Boy that speeds up the walking/scrolling speed a little bit, fixes some hitbox/jumping onto platform issues and adjusts the way the whip downgrades when taking damage. That's really about it this hack doesn't fix any of the janky jumping mechanics of the original game. While this hack might make the game just a little bit easier but I think the extra speed is the main advantage here. This hack certainly won't help you get past the auto-scrolling floor/wall of spikes in level 3! Otherwise this takes a game I've never really been able to get into and turned it into a game I played through twice in one day! I actually really like this game to be honest. The backgrounds are very detailed (especially for a Game Boy game released launch year 1989) and the music is awesome. The little extra speed boost really helps the game feel more playable for me.
