Hello friends! Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show your friends and loved ones just how much they mean to you! Today, we’ll show you how to make a heart-shaped trinket tray featuring Hello Kitty and Friend of the Month Pochacco! These trays made out of air dry clay make the perfect gift for your Valentine, or a great craft to make with your friends! Subscribe to the channel for new weekly videos: http://bit.ly/HelloKittyFriends Materials Needed Silicon mat White air dry clay Paint brushes Hot glue gun Clay tools and roller Red, pink, light pink, white, black, and yellow acrylic paint Clay finishing glaze in gloss Large heart cookie cutter Hello Kitty and Pochacco template: http://bit.ly/3lr17My Step-by-Step Instructions: (01:10) Step 1: Begin by rolling your clay to be about ¼ of an inch thick. Next, take your cookie cutter and press into the clay. Use one of your clay tools to cut around the stamp and curl up the edges of the tray. (01:27) Step 2: Roll out more clay to be ¼ of an inch thick. Using the clay tools, cut out 1 large heart, 2 medium hearts, 2 small hearts, a butterfly shape and Hello Kitty’s bow! Use your hands to properly shape her bow. (01:50) Step 3: Using the template in the description, cut out Pochacco and Hello Kitty’s head shape. Set everything aside to dry for 24 hours! (02:00) Step 4: It’s time to paint! Paint the large heart pink, 1 medium heart light pink, 1 medium heart red, and 2 small hearts light pink. Next, paint the butterfly’s wings yellow and the antenna black, paint Hello Kitty’s bow red. (02:21) Step 5: Paint on Hello Kitty’s eyes and whiskers using black paint, and her nose using yellow paint. Paint Pochacco's ears, eyes and nose using black paint. paint the trays light pink and red. Set everything aside to dry for 30 minutes. (02:47) Step 6: Once everything has dried, paint on the glaze to make everything look super shiny. Set aside, and let dry for 30 minutes. (03:01) Step 7: Now it’s time to glue everything onto our tray! You can arrange them however you like, but be sure to leave some space in the middle.
