A NO CHAT full vocal warm up routine that will definitely GROW YOUR VOICE | MusicForMy... VOICE

*THIS IS A CHAT FREE VOCAL WARM UP - a video that has been edited so that all my random chat inbetween exercises (and let's face it, I chat a lot!) has been removed. It's a full vocal warm up routine that is just the exercises. Enjoy!* A little while ago I did a mega warm up routine that was almost 45mins long... This one isn't quite as long, but is longer than my regular warm up routines and is perfect for any singer and any song. Plus it is fun! In this video we start with a lot of stretching remembering that singing is very physical and involves our whole bodies. We then find our breath, breathing in, holding and exhaling our breath slowing the beat each time before really engaging with our powerhouse and doing some CHUH CHUH train sounds. Next we do two, yes two lip bubble exercises (I am obsessed,) firstly an arpeggio up the piano that slows on our descent and then a five note staccato scale that spans THREE OCTAVES! After that we do our fave interval slides up 3rds, 4ths and 5ths opening up from an MMM to an AHH vowel before singing an augmented five not scale to a WHO vowel. Then we do my building exercise alternating between a MOO and MEE vowel (where we sound like Beaker from the Muppets!) before we cry like babies singing WAAH to a melodic pattern. I find that last exercise hard to get a smooth passaggio but like everything, if I want to grow my voice (which I do) I just need to practise!
